Tomorrow night Concord will take on Homer in varsity football action for the little brown jug! We have also been working together with Homer on the “pink jug project” to raise money for cancer research. Tomorrow our football players and cheerleaders will be honoring someone in their lives that has been impacted by cancer by wearing a pink uniform with that person’s name on the back. We want to ask the community to help make this game a PINK OUT! Please wear all the pink gear you have. This way we can show solidarity in our fight against cancer and against our foes from the west! Go Jackets!

Reminder that tonight Concord High School is hosting Mario Nanos. Mario is a family man and entrepreneur in the healthcare field. His son, Yanni, died tragically in 2018 of a heroin overdose that began with his use of opioids. Please, come to Concord High School on October 16th at 6:30 p.m. to learn what Mr. Nanos learned about the signals a parent can miss in a young person who showed no signs of trouble. This is important information that will help us all be more aware and, hopefully, to avoid the loss of one of our students.
