Congratulations to Morgan Stilson on her 2nd place finish on the beam Thursday night. Stilson completes at Jackson HS in a cooperative program that Concord is a member. Good job Morgan!
Indoor track is still running along. Vince Giuliano has qualified for both the National and State of Michigan Championships in the 60 meter, 200 meter and 400 meter dashes. His latest coming Saturday at Hillsdale in the the 200. Other State qualifiers include Josh Sharp has qualified in the 60 meter dash. Chuck King has qualified in the triple jump. Bryce Black has qualified in the discus and weight throw. Bryan Smith, and Giuliano in the 1600 relay and Sharp and Giuliano in the 800 relay.
Concord Boys Varsity Basketball won a hard fought game tonight at home vs Springport 51-41 Marley Sprague lead the way with 22 points and Zeavion Jones added 10 points. The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Monday at home vs Stockbridge at 7:00 pm.

The Concord Lady Jackets defeated Jonesville
last night, 37-47. The win gave the Seniors their first victory over the Comets in their High School careers. ALL the Lady Jackets provided shut down defense. Billie Weeks led all scorers with 13 points, and dished out five assists. Jamyia Rogers had 9 points, shooting 6/12 from the line, in the fourth quarter and sealing the Jacket victory. Congratulations to the Lady Jackets!
Concord Boys Varsity Basketbal won a thriller last night getting their first road win of the year at Jonesville 46-44. Marley Sprague lead the way with 15 points and Zeavion Jones scored 10 of his 12 points in the 4th quarter including the game winning bucket!

Congrats to the Concord Varsity Competitive Cheer team and their 1st place tonight with a total score of 617 at the Union City Invitational! The participating teams were
Bronson, Concord, Springport, Quincy, Homer, Reading, and Union City.

The HS Cross Country teams honored at halftime for their accomplishments including the first boys academic state championship in school history!


On Friday Night, at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game, we will honor the student-athletes of our high school cross country teams and their accomplishments, include the first academic state championship for our boys' team.
Track results from Central Michigan University. Josh Sharp won the 60 meter dash and placed second in the 200 meter dash. Vince Giuliano won the 200 meter dash. Josh qualified to the State Meet as did Vince in the 200. The DMR relay team of Bryan Smith, Chuck King, Malachi Boyd and Matt Record placed second. Chuck King was second in the long jump. Khaleah Wingfield won the girls long jump. Shianne Alejandro, Natalie Sharp, Khaleah Wingfield all ran season best times in the 200 dash
This Friday (1/10), the 2019 Cross Country Teams will be honored at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game v. Union City. Hoop action will begin for the varsity girls at 5:30 and the varsity boys will follow at 7:00.
Indoor track got off to a roaring start at Grand Valley State on Saturday. 4 athletes qualified for the indoor State Meet lead by Vince Giuliano, who ran the fastest time in the State this year with a 49.32 clocking in the 400 meter dash. Bryce Black threw 49 feet 11 inches in the weight throw and Chuck King jumped 37 feet in the triple jump to qualify. Skylar Thompson ran on a State qualifying 3200 relay team to also qualify. Seasonal best times were turned in by Bryan Smith in the 800 meters, Matt Record and Logan Barrett in the 1600, Malachi Boyd in the 400 meters. Skylar Thompson is the 800
Concord Varsity Basketball lost a tough one at Quincy tonight. Dane Funston lead the way for the Yellow Jackets with 18 points.
The JV boys basketball started conference play tonight with a strong win beating Quincy 46-39. Ke’juan Watts lead the way with 17 points, Anthony Evans 12, Issac Waldron 6, Logan Lamb 5, Alex Grundeman 4 and Lewis Fritz 2. Great all around contribution from all Yellow Jackets.
Concord Boys Basketball defeated Columbia-Central 51-48. Marley Sprague led the way with 15 points. Dane Funston added 12 and CJ Glaspie chipped in 11 points. The Concord JV lost to CC 48-34.
