Hello 8th Grade Parents -The PSAT for ALL 8th grade students will be on Wednesday, April 13th. It is absolutely imperative that your student be present for the ENTIRE day so that they may participate in the test; students who arrive late or leave early will likely have to engage in a makeup test on a different date. Breakfast and lunch (as well as regularly-arranged transportation) will be provided as usual. If your student is unable to attend, please let us know in the K-8 office ASAP.

It's finally spring break!!! I hope you relax and read this edition of The BUZZ!!! It has information about a new Parent Advisory Committee forming in April, showcases the super readers in the month of March, and contains the Winter Atheltic Blog.

On Friday, February 25, 2022, the CDC and JCHD updated their public transportation masking mandate. The guidance now makes wearing masks on buses optional. Therefore, beginning Monday, February 28th, masks will be optional on our busses for students that have not been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19 in the last ten days. While the risk of COVID-19 is currently low, it does not mean we are out of the woods, and as we have seen, things can change quickly. However, we hope this is a big step in the right direction. Further, the masking protocol has not changed for a student that has been exposed or tested positive for COVID-19. Those students are still required to wear masks on the bus and at school according to the JCHD recommended guidelines. Please contact the office if you have any questions.

The middle school dance scheduled for Friday, February 4th has been canceled and moved to Thursday, February 17th from 5:00pm-8:00pm. We are in need of chaperones for the dance. If you're available to chaperone please email Mrs. Smith. danielle.smith@concordschools.net

Our back roads are still very nasty this evening; with the dropping temperatures and increasing winds, we anticipate for them to get worse through the evening. Therefore, Concord Schools will be closed again tomorrow, Friday, February 4th. We will see everyone back on Monday!
