The middle school girls basketball game scheduled for today (2/6) is canceled.
Concord Schools are closed today due to the icy road conditions.
All sporting events scheduled for today and tomorrow have been cancelled. There will be no practices on Wednesday. Coaches will contact players with practice times as needed. Stay tuned for more information.
Next week is Snowcoming which means spirit week and time to earn prizes throughout the week by participating in the dress up days.
Monday is Breakfast Wear Day - Wear your comfortable breakfast attire, whether it be pajamas or sweatpants.
Tuesday is Twin Day. Find that friend that you always seem to dress like and make it an official plan to wear at least 3 items that day the same. It can be hair style, matching shirts, same shoes, matching earrings…
Wednesday is Wacky Tacky Day - do it, just get dressed in the dark. Grab whatever first comes out of the drawer or your closet. Wear it backwards, inside out, mismatched shoes, hair looking crazy, the crazier the better this day!
Thursday is Favorite Cereal Day. They’re Grrrrrrreat! Tony the Tiger, Snap, Crackle, and Pop, Toucan Sam, Captain Crunch, the Trix Rabbit, Buzz Bee from Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky the Leprechaun, this is the day to represent your your favorite cereal. You can dress as the character or make a sandwich board advertisement of your favorite cereal.
Friday is Purple and Gold Day - the day we all turn out to represent the colors that unite us all and send the clear message that we are Jacket Strong.
MS Wrestling at Union City & MS Girls BB at Jonesville are both cancelled for today. Be safe on the roads.
The next Middle School Dance is planned for February 15, 2019. More details to come.

Concord Boys BB will host MC tonight...5:30 JV start. Studio 306 gymnastics will perform at the varsity halftime and tonight’s 50/50 proceeds will go to Roger Hayward, the MC athlete injured a few weeks back. #rogerstrong

American 1 Credit Union will be at the game tonight for the halftime 1/2 court shot! Two names will be randomly selected to shoot with a chance to win $500 for themselves and $1000 for the school. See you there!
Varsity Night for Concord Girls & Boys BB tonight! The girls game begins at 5:30. We will be honoring Daniel Mikovits into the Wall of Fame between games.

The FLL robotics team, which consists of 4th-6th graders, traveled to Hartland this weekend to compete in a 24 team tournament. The team had four matches and three judging sessions. The robot ran fantastic and the kids impressed the judges. Their high schore of 108 points earned them fifth place in match play. This score was 50 points higher than their high score in 2017. The team also won the Programming Award for utilizing computer code in a creative and efficent way. GREAT JOB ROBO JACKETS!

Attention 6-8th graders and parents:
If you have signed up to work on the Middle School Float we will be working on it Monday and Thursday from 6:00-8:00 at Mrs.Blossom’s House this week. Specific details will go home tomorrow. Parents please have your child picked up by 8:00.
Concord Food for Thought is partnering with the food bank to bring fresh food to Concord High School each Monday with the last distribution being 8/20/18. The food bank delivers food around 9am and distribution will begin once the food is set up. Please consider volunteering to help pass out food; if you are interested in volunteering, please meet at the high school at 9 am.
