Concord Athletics

We have our back-to-school open house on Monday, August 21st. The flyer below is an advertisement for the event. We are rolling out the red carpet for our families to say thank you for supporting the school while also celebrating the students' return. Date/time of event 8/21/23 5:30-7:30 is the open house and meals and we will have a ribbon cutting on our new playground at 6:30 We believe in designing experiences for our students, so we fundraise or write grants to turn events into celebrating big moments. Returning to school is a big deal, and we want to celebrate our students and their families as we move into a new school year. This year is very exciting for us. Our food service team is outstanding, and they work hard to engage the community and provide incredible food to our students. They will be providing free meals to our families, hosting a free fresh food farmers market, and running a meet the farmer event, so the families will get to meet the farmers that are supporting the event (The Shaded Wagon, Blossom Farms, and Easton Family Farms) The farmers market is funded by the Team Nutrition Grant through MDE. Additionally, we will have our newly expanded preschool program handing out free snow cones. There will be bounce-houses, the students will meet their teachers, AND we will be cutting the ribbon on our brand-new playground and walking path which was funded by the May 2022 Bond. We hope you will come and join the fun!

High School Volleyball practice begins Monday, August 7th in the high school gym. PLEASE PARK in the middle school parking lot and use the HS girls' locker room door. Practice is from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday-Thursday. Varsity will practice from 3:00-5:00 on Friday and no JV practice on Friday (8/11). Remember - you must have a physical on file in order to practice - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Monday, August 7th HS Football--3:00 pm HS Volleyball--6:00-8:00 pm HS Cross Country--7:00 am & 7:00 pm HS Girls Golf--9:00 am (Concord Hills GC) Tuesday, August 15th HS Sideline Cheerleading 12:00 pm (HS Football Field) All athletes must have physicals (dated after April 15th) to practice.

Another reminder! Football starts Sunday at Midnight!! We will start practice right away so come early! Mandatory practice BEGINS Monday at 3pm. Arrive early! Message me if you have questions. Don’t forget you must have a physical on file to practice.

Don't forget to get your sports physical complete before sports begin!! You must have an up to date physical on file before you can participate. For football, Midnight madness Sunday August 6th, 11:45 PM. Mandatory football practice begins on the 7th at 3 PM. Don't miss out.

Mark your calendars!! We will be having our midnight madness practice on Saturday August 6th at 11:45PM. This is open to the public! Come out to the game field and help us celebrate the beginning of a great season. Don't forget to get your sports physicals done before hand!!

Concord Classic Weekend 2023 will be held on June 23-25th! Live Music, Cornhole, Sand Volleyball, Home Run Derby, Golf Tourney, Food Truck, Bounce Houses, Classic 5K, 3 v 3 Basketball, and many other fun activities for all ages. The varsity baseball & softball DH at Springport scheduled for tomorrow (4/18) has been moved to Thursday, April 20th at 3:45 pm (2:30 pm bus depart). The home varsity baseball DH v. Hillsdale on Thursday, April 20th has been moved to Saturday, May 20th at 9:00 am at Concord. ​The middle school track meet at Union City scheduled for tomorrow (4/18) has been moved to Thursday, May 11th at 4:30 pm at Union City. (3:15 pm bus depart).
