On Saturday the Cross Country Team traveled to Stockbridge to take on 17 other schools. Most of which were much larger schools. The girls ran outstanding as they finished in 10th place without 3 of the girls running. Samantha had an outstanding race as she smashed her school record she set a couple of weeks ago by 35 seconds! Also broke 18 minutes with a 17:58.1 Congratulations Samantha. Next to cross the finish line was Freshmen Skylar Thompson who also put her name up on the record board as she ran the second fastest freshmen time ever 5 seconds faster then what Samantha ran as a freshmen. Then Natalee came in with her fastest time of the season which wasn't to far from her fastest time ever. Then came Allison Zigray who demolished her career best time by over a minute. Then came Haylie Kowalski who destroyed her best time ever by 3 minutes and ten seconds. Also having a fantastic race was Halie Cesco who ran her season best time by 2 minutes and 40 seconds. Great Job Ladies While the ladies were celebrating a great morning the guys were preparing for their own race. The guys also ran against those same 18 schools and they came in 7th with what was a fantastic day. TJ Kessman led the Yellowjacket charge as he finished in 6th breaking his career best time by 4 seconds and running all most 2 minutes faster then he did on Tuesday.
