Concord Competitive Cheerleading team had a 1st place finish at the Big 8 Jamboree at Jonesville tonight with a season high score of 701. Next Monday, they will compete at Reading High School at 6:00 pm for an opportunity to win the Big 8 Championship.

The Class of 2019 is hosting a pregame spaghetti dinner from 4:45-6:45 pm on Friday February 9th in the high school cafeteria. Reading defeated Concord 48-36 in Varsity Boys Basketball tonight.
With a balanced attack the Lady Yellow Jackets outlasted Napoleon 68-38. Leading the way was Weeks with 23, Rogers with 18, and Ward with 11.
The Lady Jackets JV basketball team traveled to Napoleon last evening and collected a well earned victory. This game consisted of six lead changes and ended Concord 33--Napoleon 29. Leading scorer for Concord was Ja’Krystal McDonald with 12, Madison Smith chipped in with 8 and Jacey Hutchins collected 7. Hutchins and McDonald also grabbed 5 rebounds apiece. Great win ladies, way to stay in the game until the final buzzer. The team travels to Bronson on Thursday as part of JV night.

The Concord Varsity Boys Basketball team lost a hard fought overtime game to Marshall Academy 67-61. Marley Sprague led the way with 22.
The Concord JV boys defeated Calhoun Christian 68-32. Bobby Ward led the Jackets with 19 points.
The JV Boys BB will play Calhoun Christian (5:30) and the Varsity will play Marshall Academy (7:00) tomorrow (Monday) night.
