REMINDER: Concord will be again using Ticket Spicket for game tickets for the 2021-22 seasons. We will however be selling passes, which I ENCOURAGE you to purchase. This is cost-saving and you will not need to use Ticket Spicket for home events. Passes can be purchased at home events: Family Passes $125 Adult Passes $50 Student Passes $30 **These passes are good for all home events during the 2021-22 school year, other than MHSAA events. There will be other opponents on our schedule that will also be using digital ticketing, so be prepared. Tomorrow's IGL Girls Golf match at Columbia-Central (Clark Lake GC) and JV Volleyball Tourney at Concord have been postponed due to anticipated heat issue. We will look to reschedule both events at a later time.

Middle School next practice (UPDATED): MS Football--Thursday, August 26th 3-5pm MS Cheer--Tuesday, August 24th 3-5 pm 7th Grade Volleyball, Thursday, August 26th 3-5 pm 8th Grade Volleyball, Thursday, August 26th 5-7 pm MS Cross Country, Tuesday, August 24th 7:00 pm Student-Athletes must have a physical on file or turn one into the coach at the first practice. The physical must be done after April 15, 2021 to be valid. Also, please make sure the physical card is filled out completely and signed by the parent & athlete in all required spots.

The Varsity Volleyball team travelled to the Battle Creek St. Phil tournament today for their season opener. It was a very hot and humid day- but the girls played through it! They defeated Hillsdale Academy 25-14, 25-11, 25-19 and Centreville 15-25, 26-24, 25-17, 25-15. Then lost in the first round of the Gold division playoffs to Athens 6-25, 18-25. Leaders for the day were Georgia Weeks with 26 kills, 3 blocks, 20 digs and went 17/22 at the line with 1 ace. Karlee Gamet had 20 kills, 18 digs, was 29/31 with 4 aces. Rylee Weeks led all servers with 37/38 and 5 aces. She also had 5 kills and 15 digs. Hadley Kettwich had 52 setting assists, 5 kills and was 27/29 serving with 3 aces. Anna Burrow had 10 kills, Sam Kessman was 5/5 serving, and Jayden Householder had 7 kills, 12 digs, and was 13/15 serving. Kayla Miller was 18/20 serving with 2 aces. The Lady’s are off to a 2-1 start!! They resume play on Tuesday at Hanover-Horton.

High School sports practices will begin on Monday, August 9th. You must have a sports physical on file. No physical, no practice. Summer Football for all High School players will begin on July 6th at 4:00PM-6:30PM. Please arrive early to get your helmet. Make sure to bring plenty of water for yourself. Also, don't forget that your alternate uniforms and whether or not we have 2 a day practices will be determined by our attendance at summer football activities. I can't wait to see everyone!!
