CHS Summer School
Summer is here, and with it comes the joy of longer days, outdoor adventures, and summer food! Concord Community Schools is thrilled to announce the return of our Free Summer Meals, featuring a convenient drive-thru option to keep all children fed and smiles bright all summer long. Our drive-thru program makes nutritious meal bags readily available to all children age 18 and under in the community, regardless of background or income. Meal bags will contain 7 days of breakfast and 7 days of lunch, fresh produce and a gallon of milk. Here’s the Scoop on the Drive-Thru: Who: All children 18 and under are welcome but do not need to be present! Adults can pick up meals for other children with a note from the guardian. What: Delicious, nutritionally balanced meals that meet USDA guidelines, fresh produce and a gallon of milk with every bag. When: Starting Wednesday, June 12th and running through Wednesday, July 31st, on Wednesdays from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Where: Simply pull up to the designated drive-thru lane behind Concord Elementary School, 405 S Main Street, Concord, MI. No registration or paperwork is required! Just drive up, grab a free meal bag packed with fresh goodness and a gallon of milk, and be on your way to a summer full of fun and exploration. Spread the Word! This program thrives on community support. Help us reach all children by sharing this information with your friends, family, and neighbors. Let’s work together to ensure a happy, healthy summer for all! About the Summer Food Service Program: The Summer Food Service Program is a federally funded, state-administered program that provides nutritious meals to children during the summer months when school meals are not available. Dear Concord Families The Concord Food for Thought Program has a food bag surplus. If you are a FFT family and are in need or would be willing to accept an extra week's worth of food before the end of the school year, please email the Food for Thought Program. On May 7th, our community voted to renew our sinking fund. We are incredibly thankful and proud of our Concord Community. Our ballot issue had the HIGHEST voter turnout in the county, and no matter how you voted, we appreciate your involvement in the future of our schools. #ONEHIVE

Good morning, This is a reminder to all parents that today is an early release day. Today we are also combining bus route #4 with bus #5. This is due to a shortage of drivers today. We are actively seeking applicants for substitute bus drivers. If you are interested please call the transportation department. If your child rides bus #4 they will ride #5 today. Thank you for your patience and understanding, Dale Wagner Transportation Director (517) 867-6006
