
The Middle School Cross Country meet scheduled for today in Jackson has been cancelled due to the heat.

Congrats the the Concors JV team and there 56-0 defeat of Bronson. The JV is now 5-0! Good luck to the varsity tonight for Homecoming 2017.

Last night the Girls golf team shot 184, their best score of the season by 11 shots. Columbia edged Concord by one shot as they broke there school record in the process. Khloe Rothenberger lead the team with 43, Shayla Martin had a personal best of 45, Kenzie Collier 47, while Josie, Sarah, & Madison all carded 49s. The girls are 2nd in the league headed into Tuesday's league finale at Lakeland Hills golf course. Congratulations girls & good luck Friday at the Jackson County Invitational.

Last night the JV volleyball team lost to Reading 24-26, 12-25 and 11-25. They are now 2-1 in the Big 8 conference!

Last night the Varsity volleyball team defeated Reading 25-16, 25-21 and 25-8. They are now 2-1 in the Big 8 conference!

Lady Jacket's golf team finished 3rd at the Onsted Inv. Monday. The team posted a season low 388. Madison Reiniche & Kenzie Collier both earned medals & lead the team with a score of 95, Josie Williams 98, Sarah Strouss 100. Maddy and Sarah both posted personal best tournament scores. Congratulations Ladies, Good Luck at Hudson Wednesday.

The 7th grade volleyball team split last night at Homer, defeating Homer and losing against Springport. Faith Moore led the team with aces with 20, Danaca Jordan had 11 aces, Maddi Biszalik and Alyssa Gibson each added 5 aces, and Madi Coburn and Sam Kessman each had 2 aces. Great job girls!

Samantha Saenz and TJ Kessman both finished in first place.
On Saturday the Cross Country team traveled to Mendon for a 15 team invitational. The girls team of Allison Zigray, Jaycee Bihl, Haylie Kowlaski, Halie Cesco, Hailei Manthei, Natalee Williams, Alaysia Guttierrez, Skylar Thompson, and Samantha Saenz had a great day as they finished in 4th place. Congratulations to Samantha who ran one of her fastest times ever as she finished in first place. Skylar finished in 4th place with her second fastest time ever, Alaysia broke her season best time by 50 seconds Kowlaski ran her fastest time ever, and cesco ran her fastest time of the season by over a minute. Great Job Ladies!
The Boys team also had an outstanding day as the group of varsity guys Logan Barrett, Cole Thompson, Luke Holton, Bryan Smith, Matt Record James Silbernagel, and TJ Kessman finished in second place. While the JV guys Cody Hilleard, Austin Barrett, Chuckie King, Sebastian Gamet and Gavin Adams finished in first place edging out Centerville by 4 points. Congratulations to TJ kessman who ran his fastest time of the season as he finished in first place. Congratulations to James and Cole who also ran their fastest times of the season. Then Cody smashed his best time ever by over a minute while Gavin destroyed his fastet time ever by all most 2 minutes.
Up next is our first conference jamboree at Jonesville on Tuesday the 26th, we would love to have a lot of cheering voices as the two teams go after Conference Championships. The girls race will begin at 5:00 PM with boys to follow.

The girls team finished 3rd out of 10 teams
The boys team finished 4th out of 7 teams
Jonathan Mikovits won the boys race in a time of 9:51
Hunter Sharum and Franky McCallum received a medal in the boys race
Shianne Alejandro was the top finisher for the girls team with a 8th place finish in a time of 12:09
Riley Adams, and Savanna Payne both received a medal
7 out of 9 improved their pace from last meet for the girls team
Franky Macclum and Reginad Craig both finished their first race in XC
Aiden improved his time from last year by a 1 minute and 16 seconds

The Concord Volleyball team lost to Jonesville 3-0, while the JV volleyball team was victorius against the Comets.

The Concord JV Football team is now 4-0 after a 26-0 defeat of Reading.

The girls golf team finished 2nd yesterday at the Onsted Jamboree. The team shot 206, and was lead by Josie Williams & Makenzie Collier who each shot 50, Madison Reiniche had 52, & Sarah Strouss 55. The team is steadily improving and sits in 2nd place in the IGL.
