All athletes must have a physical on file in order to practice. If you had a physical during the 2019-20 school year, you'll need to complete a health questionnaire instead.

Attention HS Boys : If your son is interested in playing football, please contact Coach Max Clark at (517) 414-0261 (call or text) or max.clark@concordschools.net We need to determine how many students in 9-12 are interested in playing. Practice will begin on Tuesday at 4:00.

Attention all high school football players! Football has been reinstated. We will begin mandatory practices Tuesday at 4pm. Helmet handout at 315pm right before.

Last night the High School Cross Country teams traveled to Hanover for a good early season meet between two very evenly matched teams. While Hanover came out on top in both the boys and girls races it was exciting. In the boys race Jonathan Mikovits finished 2nd. He was followed by Logan Barrett who finished 5th with his fastest time ever. In 6th was Luke Holton who ran his second fastest time ever. 7th was Joe Bulko in 10th was Chuckie King who ran his fastest time ever by over a minute. Placing 14th was Adair Artis, 16th Isaac Waldron, 17th Cole Thompson, 23rd Nolan Korman, 27th Gavin Adams and 28th James Franssen. Congratulations to Nolan and James as they ran their fastest times of the season by over five minutes a piece. Way to run guys. In the Girls race Skylar ran fantastic as she pulled away from everyone very early and earned the victory. Haylee Rinehart placed 4th with an excellent race. In 9th was Gwen Bulko, 12th Riley Adams, 13th Natalie Sharp, 14th Nichelle Smith, 16th Kiara Ozuzu, 17th Haylie Kowalski, and in 22nd Jasmine McCabe. All of the girls ran their fastest times of the season and Kiara ran her fastest time ever. Coach is very proud of all of you. Keep working hard as we prepare to host Potterville and Coldwater on Tuesday.

Middle School volleyball season will start once teams are allowed in the gym. We will keep you posted on when MS volleyball will begin when we know more. REMINDER: All students need to have a sports physical on file or health questionnaire filled out if you had a physical in the 2019-20 school year. MS cross country begins tomorrow! Meet at the tree by the baseball diamond after school.

The Concord Girls Golf team played a tough Wolf Creek GC yesterday. Faith Moore shot 61, Sidney Marshall 70, and Rylee Sinden added a 75. Concord will play again on Monday at The Hills of Lenawee County GC.

The Boys cross country team got off to an amazing start to the season. They traveled to Pittsford for the first meet of the season, and they came away victorious. While the girls team had some very solid performances, considering how hot it was as they worked hard and as a result finished third. Anyone interested in joining us you are welcome to come talk to Coach Jordon. On September 8, we will host Potterville and Coldwater.

The Concord Girls Golf team continues to improve. Today, Faith Moore shot 61, Sidney Marshall shot 68, and Rylee Sinden shot 80. It was Sidney and Rylee's first time playing today and they did amazing and have improved so much. We are still looking for players! If interested, contact Mr. Lehman.

Congrats to Faith Moore today as she shot a 59 and finished 13th out of 25 golfers today at the Hillsdale Jamboree.

If you had a physical in 2019-20, you must turn in the MHSAA Health Questionnaire. If not, you will need a sports physical. We are waiting for MHSAA to decide about practicing indoors, so this is subject to change and sites are TBD. If you have any questions, please email matt.lehman@concordschools.net

Attention High School Football Players!! There is a packet that you must pick up and have completed in order to begin practice on Monday the 10th. Coach Clark will be at the High School office on Sunday from 5-7pm so you can stop and pick up your packet and have it done before Monday’s practice. You must pick it up Sunday 5-7 pm and return it when you come to practice on Monday. REQUIRED!

Attention middle school players and parents: We will begin optional middle school football workouts August 17th thru 21st from 3:15-4:15. Mandatory practice will begin on the 24th and go from 315-5pm. You must bring you own water bottle, and a mask. Social distancing will be practiced.

Mandatory football practice begins on Monday, August 10 at 330 pm. We will conclude at 8pm. If you plan on playing make sure you are there. You must have a mask to wear at check in or when not participating in drills, your own water bottle, and your own hand sanitizer is always a good idea. You will need football cleats and something to eat for dinner as well. We will not be using the locker room so come prepared and we will meet at the practice field. We will be in helmets only for the first week. All players will have to be temperature checked and complete the questionnaire daily. We will also be very strict about social distancing whenever possible. Also, Please self assess daily. If you have any symptoms at all just message a coach and stay home! I know this all seems intense but these are the rules we must follow if we want to have any chance of playing games. A decision will be made by the state in regards to games by August 20. If you have a physical on file from last school year your good to go. You will just need to complete a medical form for you child. You do not need to get and updated physical for this year. Good morning. This is Mr. Funston, Superintendent of Concord Schools. As many of you have heard, Governor Whitmer made an announcement late last night closing schools beginning Monday and ending April 6th due to the COVID-19 Corona Virus. We DO have school today. We will learn more information this morning and I will send out another communication after lunch today with more details.
