Tomorrow's varsity baseball-softball game at Bronson has been moved to Friday, April 23rd at 4:15 (DH). The Leslie doubleheader on Friday has been postponed and no make-up date has been set. Stay tuned for more possible changes with the athletic schedule.
Reminder: Covid testing for spring sport athletes ages 13-19 will take place today (4/19) in the high school gym beginning at 2:30 pm for virtual students and 3:00 for students in-person. Due to the game today and pictures, JV & Varsity Softball should arrive about 2:15 pm.

Two consent forms went home with the athletes that must be returned before they can be tested. Without the consent forms, athletes cannot be tested. Without the testing, athletes cannot play or practice. Additional consent forms can be picked up in the administration office. Weekly testing will take place on Mondays after this week.

The 7th grade basketball team defeated Quincy Wednesday night 35 to 18. Connor Stevens lead the scoring with 22 points. Nate Fritz had 7, Colton Gray had 4 and Lane Blossom had 2 points. The 7th graders are now 2 and 2 in the win loss column
The 8th graders lost 36 to 22. Gavin Riske had 8 points, Jett Smith and Jordon Medellin had 6 and Michael Brigham had 2. The 8th graders are also 2 and 2

Any boy in grades 9-12 that is interested in playing golf this spring, should contact Mr. Bauman at mike.bauman@concordschools.net The first day of practice will be March 22nd.
Middle school boys basketball practice will resume on Monday, March 1st at 3:00. The first game will be Monday, March 8th. Players must have their grades up!

Spring Sports will begin for baseball, softball boys' golf, and high school track on Monday, March 22nd. If you are currently playing a winter sport, it will begin when your season is completed. Middle school track will begin on Monday, April 5th. If you have any questions, email the athletic department or coach. Make sure you have a physical on file if you haven't played a sport this school year.
The Concord 7th grade with a mix of 6th beat Homer 23-17 today. Cece Barrett led the way with 11 points. Bradie Lehman added 6 points. Haley Stimer, Bella Coppernoll, and Jordyan Metcalf added 2 points each. The 7th grade team is now 3-1 on the season. Concord will host Quincy on Monday at 5:00 pm.
Updated Schedule for Saturday: There will be NO JV boys basketball game tomorrow at Napoleon. The varsity game will begin at 2:30 pm. If you are a JV parent and purchased tickets for tomorrow's game, please contact Ticket Spicket and they will refund your money if desired.
Good hard fought win tonight for the varsity boys basketball team. Grealey Sprague lead the way with 15 points and Anthony Evans added 13 Big points off the bench!

Starting on Wednesday, all ticket sales will be online and money WILL NOT be collected at the door. Tickets will go on sale at 12:00 pm on the day before each game for family and friends of players (4-tickets per participant). Coaches and players will receive an access code that will allow you to purchase tickets. At 8:00 am on the day of the game, tickets will go on sale for ANYONE that would like a ticket and the access code is NOT needed. This will be posted on the Concord Athletic Department Facebook and Twitter page. Tickets will sell out at 250 tickets at HS Gym and 100 at MS Gym. Tickets are $5, plus handling costs.
When you enter the event, you will need to simply show our ticket person your ticket on your smartphone. For those that do not have a smartphone, we will have a printed record of those that purchased tickets. There are no passes at this time, other than game workers that are helping at the event and Concord staff that has a player on the team. This will allow an opportunity for more fans to attend basketball games and allow us to keep track for contact tracing purposes.
