Dear Parents,
We're excited to share some exciting news about a new addition to our student report cards this year. In addition to academic subjects, we'll be incorporating soft skills to provide a more comprehensive understanding of your child's development. These essential life skills are crucial for success in school, work, and personal relationships.
For the first quarter, our focus has been on collaboration. We believe that fostering a collaborative environment is essential for students to learn from each other, develop problem-solving skills, and build strong relationships.
To reinforce this important skill, we've planned a special Collaboration Day this Wednesday. Students will participate in various collaborative activities and projects throughout the day. As a fun and engaging way to conclude the day, we'd like to invite your child to contribute to a class candy salad. This popular social media trend involves combining various candies into a giant bowl and then sharing them equally.
If your child would like to participate, please send them to school with a personalized-size bag of candy on Wednesday. This is entirely optional, and we're simply offering it as a fun and collaborative experience.
We're confident that this new approach to reporting and our focus on soft skills will benefit your child's overall development. Thank you for your continued support.

Remember, tomorrow Wednesday October 16th your Little Caesars Pizza kit orders will be available for pick up. You will be able to get them from 2pm to 6pm on the stage in the 4th and 5th grade hallway of the Elementary. We cannot store them overnight. They must be picked up by an adult.

Concords Food for Thought Program is back for the 2024-2025 school year. The backpacks are full of free, wholesome food furnished by Concord Food for Thought’s Weekend Backpack Program and the Food Bank of South-Central Michigan. The Weekend Backpack and Pantry Program is strictly voluntary and confidential. The family of any
