Concord Schools will be open tomorrow. I appreciate your patience today as we were alerted very early this morning to a new COVID-19 exposure. I felt it was really important to be safe and work with the health department to develop a plan. The attached letter has more details.

Concord Community School is closed today, Monday Septmeber 21, due to a positive COVID-19 case among one of our staff members. We will be working with the health department today to determine what the next action steps are. We will be sharing more information and details with our families as soon as we can. Thank you!

Please see the letter and summary table sent via email for information regarding Concord's COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan. This same letter and the summary table will be placed on our website, social media, and mailed home to ensure we reach all of our families.
This is the first round of communication about Concord's 2020-2021 improved safety protocols and learning options. This plan is very fluid and will adapt as information is released from the governor. We will be creating weekly communications to keep our families as updated as possible as we head toward the first day of school. Please make sure the office has an updated email address, and please check your email often.

Congratulations to all of the students that participated in the Name that 250-year-old Tree contest. The DNR team and staff at the Mann House were very impressed with all of the entries. The top three finishers were announced this morning. The winner will have their name and the name of the tree published on a plaque that will sit beside Concord's 250-year-old oak tree in the Mann House yard.
3rd place was Zerra Reid (6th grade) she named the tree the Ethereal Tree
2nd place was Zack Stevens (3rd grade) he named the tree the Learnedness Oak
1st place was Delaney Caples (4th grade) she named the tree the Hope Oak.
Great work Zerra, Zack, and Delaney!! We are so proud of all of you!
